Sculptural dymorphasm form

Rogan Gregory undertook a change about ten years ago, supplementing his successful career as a fashion designer and consultant with a new body of work in wood, stone, and cast bronze. His forms tend to be enigmatic, essentialist, with faint stirrings of figuration. There is an evident debt to modernist sculpture (particularly the British titans Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth), but Gregory’s approach is instinctive rather than referential, springing to life from his direct response to materiality.
